This film is genius. It's one of the greatest films ever. Holy god. Wake the neighbors and call the kids. Buy and watch it this instant.

My 1st A.D. (Feature) Debut

I just finished my first feature film as First A.D. My next film starts in early August, and I'm taking my Production Coordinator from the last film, Beth Gatza, as my Second A.D., and Stephanie Whiton as Set Dresser. I am currently looking for a Second Second A.D. to work for Beth and me. I also met last night with William Dose, Producer of The Graffiti Artist (and my last one-man show). We are working on producing my first short film, which we plan to shoot in February. I intend to use Carlos Oropeza as my D.P., and Stephen Paar as my Gaffer. I have about 15 more people from my last crew who will be joining me on my directorial debut. Hallelujah!

You don't get to see Diane, my 2nd A.D., or our Second 2nd A.D., or Violeta our UPM. But Beth Gatza appears in the background (short blond hair). This was a particularly schmaltzy scene, but the actress can squeeze tears out of either eye - on command - take after take. Shocking. This was also a very tight location in a house - so we were very limited on crew that day (you don't get to see all the grips, gaffers, and art department, as well as the kitchen full of crafties and other above the line people.
