Spencer Lord & Victoria Silvstedt

Here I am with miss Victoria. There's delicious irony in being so gay, and so close to Playmates of the Year (as well as various and sundry other models, pussycats, glamourpusses, porn stars, icons, celebs, and other such—such delicious irony. Straight men just don't have a clue when it comes to charming straight girls. Victoria and I chased boys together and swapped manicure tips. Check out her website, it's superb!, also check her out on E! cable network. We had so much fun that night... I miss you bitch... call me! ...Victoria grew up in a close-knit family of five in a small village in Northern Sweden complete with the midnight sun (it was essentially dark 24 hours a day for three months each year). She was raised with, and maintains, her families sensibilities to appreciate discipline, hard work and community. A gifted athlete, Victoria became a world-class member of the Swedish National Ski Team, ranking as high as fourth among her future Olympian teammates in the Super-Giant Slalom...

My Parents

My parents at The Mansion, Turtle Creek, in Dallas. The restaurant at this hotel is one of the best in America. I took them here for a week on our way to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I'm so proud of my parents, they are total fucking ROCKSTARS. xoxooxoxoxoxooxoxoxox

Tina Fiori, Spencer Lord, Scott Klein, & Wendy Dondero

Tina, Me, Scott, and Wendy in front of the Four Seasons on 57th Street in New York City. We had just returned from the Hamptons... where we had more fun than it would be appropriate for me to describe here. I MISS YOU TINA, SCOTT, and WENDY! xoxoxox

Nelson, Spencer, and Luis

Nelson, Me, and Luis—my best friends in Puerto Vallarta. I used to spend several months a year in Vallarta, and got really close to Luis and Pedro (not pictured), and Nelson was a dancer at Paco Paco for more years than I can count. I miss all my boyfriends and sisters in Vallarta... and I miss the chocobanana lady... and I miss sunsets at Descanso Del Sol... and the blue chairs... God I miss Vallarta.

Atop Mount Rinjani

Here I am atop Mt. Rinjani, on the island of Lombok in Indonesia. It was one of the first volcanos I climbed, just after climbing Mt. Merapi

Spencer & Scarlett in Times Square

NYC with Scarlett... we lived in Chelsea... I moved there right after 911, and didn't last long, Scarlett lasted years and years... but she's a tough bitch. xoxo

More of Me and Mother Teresa

One more pic of me and Mother Teresa. This one was taken in 1996, at the Mother House, just outside her study as she was signing things for the editor of Der Spiegel. More pics of us together here.

Streets of Bangkok

Here is a pic of me in Bangkok in 1995. I miss DJ Station, and Telephone Bar, and all my friends in Pattaya, and, more than anyone anywhere, I miss Ron.

One Month in the Slammer.

Hallelujah - One month without cigs, and my stomach is as flat as a board. I am unspeakably grateful for all the mail - letter, notes, props, etc. And many thanks for the books. This place is conducive to intense focus - and I have reached a clip of about 800 pages per day. I was hauled into court yesterday. My lawyer said a bunch of stuff I didn't understand ( I only paralegaled for civil firm/cases), then I was redeposited in my cage. The short of it - Should be sprung by Christmas. Special thanks to those bloggers in my roll who printed and mailed their blogs - Fanastic. Please tell every bibliophile you know to drop an old paperback (and or magazine) in the mail. They cut the covers off hardbacks! And call me a criminal. So soft, used paperbacks are best - anything civilized and juicy, esp. old New Yorkers. Limit 3 items per package and no return address necessary. My address is below. I'll post as whatnot develops - I have to mail these postings out. Keep that mail, coming - I love it. XO

Hong Kong - Kowloon

The Peninsula in Hong Kong, Kowloon. High tea at this hotel is a real production. I was visiting Roman Tam and Ricki Tan, and Paul from Harvard was with me. I don't really miss Hong Kong (but I kind of miss the Chung King Mansions)

Contessa Otero & Me

Contessa Liliana Otero and me. I miss Lily... Lil, are you out there? I haven't heard from her in almost ten years, my God we were so young. I hope you Google your name and find this and email me. That's one reason I'm posting all these pix, I would love to find some of these people.

Chinese Customs

At Chinese customs. I was leaving Macau after a long week of being the good luck charm of Mr. Wong, ancient Chinese blackjack champion. I had to sample an authentic communist dim sum brunch, so I ventured into Red China for a few days. The duck tongues were too chewy. China is amazing... see the red flag? (I didn't take Ayn Rand with me)

Balinese Dancers at Jimbaran Bay

These are some Balinese dancers who came to the Four Seasons, Jimbaran Bay to perform. I lived mostly in Ubud when I was in Bali, but I came down to Kuta and the other beaches on occasion, when the company was right. Selamat Malam dari ujung ke pulaki! Apa Khabar? BAIK! BAIK!!!

Nobody likes to fly commercial.

Atop Mount Merapi

Almost at the peak of Mt. Merapi, one of Indonesia's most active volcanos. This climb almost killed me. It was upon summiting this volcano that I decided I wanted to climb Everest. I chickened out... but climed Rinjani shortly thereafter.

Pop, Sophie, and Me

At DJ Station in Bangkok, rolling my brains out with Sophie, the Ambassador from Luxembourg, and Pop, the owner of one of the best restaurants in Bangkok. Sophie are you out there? Pop is the restaurant still on Silom? MISS YOU!

Num, Gai, Yours Truly, and Nyomen

The beaches of Koh Samet, with Num (far left), Gai (second), me, and Nyomen. This is an excellent picture in that it perfectly represents three distinct Pacific Rim faces: Num is Thai, Gai is Chinese, and Nyomen is Indonesian. The differences are so distinct... I don't know how people confuse them. Check out this pic of Koh Samet. Wow.

Camelback Into Pakistan

Going from Rajasthan into Pakistan, overland, yikes! This was three days before my birthday, and I had been in the desert for almost two weeks. Sand everywhere. Golden Temple here I come!

Across the Java Sea

Finally perfected the art of levitation. ;) Here I am in the Java Sea. I rarely paid to travel on water in Indonesia, rather I would bargain for deckspace and sleep under the stars. This is on the way from Komodo island to the island of Borneo. I actually made the batik I'm wearing. Mt. Rinjani is probably in the background somewhere. God I miss it.

Brewer Twins, Crazy Horse Girls, and Me

Here's another pic of the Brewer Twins and me, and two girlfriends from Crazy Horse. This was at the Congress Hotel after a Chicago Film Festival party.
