Doctor Zhivago & North by Northwest
I think I'm in love. Is this man evil? Am I being had? I would marry him if he asked me. It would be like having a talkng law library on the pillow next to you. Mind you--I had my share of marriage proposals from doctors and lawyers--but I usually chose the guy with a motorcycle and no checking account. So my taste in men is not to be trusted. Which means Mr. Roberts is probably not to be trusted. I'm just so afraid he's The Great Satan. Please don't be Satan Mr. Roberts.I'm trying a new blog--called Streaming Weltanschauung. It will go deeper and tougher--wear a cup.

I love your blog! You have a lot of great entries! I'll have to keep up with it :)
I don’t think he Satan, but I am getting a little concerned. He has had such a privileged upbringing, went to the best schools, and is now living the American dream to the fullest. I’m not saying any of that is necessarily bad, but hopefully none of it has detached him from “it’s a cruel world” reality.
Here's a good profile link: JGR.
Am I experiencing hallucinations, or did you not have a list of films posted here earlier, one that invited people to add some of their own favourites? I duly thought about it and wrote down a few of mine. Now here I am with no place to post them ...or am I truly losing it?
Now, regarding Mr. Roberts... the question is, why did Bush, who is not exactly noted for buddying-up with the brainy, select him? Is it a case of, As Baldridge used to say on Blackadder, "I have a cunning plan!"
I don't really get a bad vibe from Roberts. I think, if he walks the walk he says he does, he'll be able to separate his own politics from the cases he hears. Scalia and Thomas both scare me more, and I'm worried that Bush's next nominee will be another like them.
None of them can be trusted. How can someone virually ignore a crisis, and then come in and "accept full responsibility". Don't look behind the curtain, the Great Oz is nothing but a weiner in over starched suits.
*LOL* I hear ya on choosing the wrong guy!! Why is it we are attracted to those that are just so wrong??:) I like the lawyer idea, but I too, would get the unemployed-lives in his parent's basement-no job loser!!
Awwww the pleasure of being attracted to the wrong guy. I know the pleasure of that pain soooo well. LOL
Yes, a fine specimen. Could be either Bob's Your Uncle or the Reichsleader. I like TV cheesecake too, but I wouldn't lift my thumb to take a gander at Michelle Malkin. Yuck!
I tend to choose the wrong guy all the time too. In the past at least. After all these years, I think I finally got it right. *crosses fingers.
Great blog, btw.
