...i'm addicted 2 dr. 90210 on e!, & i can now distill my plastic surgery philosophy into a simple maxim: go hog wild on your body, but don't touch your face. that's clearly the rule. lipo, tummy tucks, boob jobs, etc... plastic surgery on the body is often magnificent, & almost always an improvement... plastic surgery on the face is an entirely different matter... the face, n platonic form (& n the visual cortex), shouldnt be altered... i hate the fact that i will never know what joan rivers would have looked like as a normal, aging comic. that's the horror of facial surgery - it leaves your friends/family/fans in eternal wonder of what u 'would have looked like'.... "normally". i hope i can afford 2 slice & dice my body as it wrinkles & deteriorates, but no matter how old it gets... no one touches my face...
